Gring's Mill

While I was home this weekend I took some pictures of Belly Boo at Gring's Mill.  Since I started working more I've clearly lost my touch for snapping good photos, but I did manage to get a few.

Change of the seasons...

I wish I had some pictures of beautiful fall leaves to share, but our warm and rainy weather over the past few weeks means that we won't be seeing the amazing colors of fall until the end of October.

This really bums me out since I just love fall, but in a way I'm okay with it because I really feel like the weeks are just flying by right now.

There is some good news, though!  Starting on Monday I'll be switching to a new store and starting full time with my bank.  I'm bummed that I have to switch stores, but I'm glad that I will have more evenings and weekends off to spend with me family.  I know that this will be a great opportunity for our family and I'm looking forward to meeting new co-workers and customers!

Playing with Clay

The past few weeks have been really rainy and miserable here in PA, so on my days off we spent most of the time cuddled on the sofa watching movies, reading books and playing with Legos.  After three days of doing this though, Belly Boo got really bored, so we brought out some modeling clay.

We all had fun making snakes and balls, twisting things around and seeing what we could come up with.  It was so fun just watching Belly Boo trying to figure out what to do next!

My Very Own Tigger

Belly Boo has learned how to jump, so while we were at a family birthday party, it's no surprise that she had fun bouncing on the trampoline.  She wasn't so sure at first and so she held on to my hand and lightly bounced at first, but in about 10 minutes she was having a blast running around and bouncing that we couldn't get her off!

September in MyTubo Pictures

I started using MyTubo on my Andriod phone, and I love it.  Here are some of my favorite images from the month of September.

Chocolate cupcakes, minus their Nutella frosting.

Feeding the fish on Labor Day.

Reading all three books in The Hunger Games series in a week and a half.

Belly Boo and her Uncle Blake...these two together make me smile.

Making jewelry.  So much fun.

Belly Boo playing with modeling clay and having so much fun.

Cheers to the weekend and having friends over for dinner.

My sweet little Mar-Mar.

An adorable Etsy order.

Flowers from my love.  So beautiful and perfect for fall.

Sprinkles

Our Belly Boo is growing up.  On Labor Day we traveled out to Ephrata for a day of visiting and picnicking.  I made super yummy chocolate cupcakes with Nutella frosting, but waited until the traveling was over to frost and decorate them.  We had to pick a few things up before the picnic, and I found some perfect fall colored leaf sprinkles, so I snatched them up to put on my cupcakes.

Belly Boo was super interested in watching me frost the cupcakes (and sampling some from the bowl), so I let her help me put the sprinkles on the cupcakes.  She was very focused on making sure the cupcakes were well covered!

This makes me super excited to make yummy treats with me little helper around the holidays!

Why my kid is the coolest...

Today Belly Boo and I went to meet the hubs for a little lunch at Red Robin (Yum!).  I had a really yummy chicken wrap and we split a chocolate lava cake while Belly Boo nommed on some ice cream.  After we were done, Belly Boo and I headed to Target to pick a few things up.

I was originally going to get some new mascara, since I needed some badly, but while walking past the nail polish aisle, Belly Boo let out a chorus of "wows" and "ohs!"....so we stopped to look at them.

Things I now know about my 2 year old:
  • She has good taste in nail polish (she went right for the Essie bottles)
  • She knows a good color when she sees one.

She picked out Essie's "Turquoise & Caicos" and wouldn't let go of the bottle if her life depended on it.  She gave it to the girl at the check out and held it in her little hands the whole way home, took it with her when she took a nap this afternoon, and has been carrying it around the house all night.  It's adorable.

When she got up from her nap, I turned the movie Tangled on from Netflix and offered to paint her toe nails...she got all excited, gave me the bottle of nail polish and propped her tiny feet up on my leg.  She sat ever so still and let her toes dry without touching them.  It was adorable.  After he toes were done I painted mine to match (which she loved, and kept saying "yay" and clapping.

Yup.  My kiddo is awesome.  And adorable.  And I love her so stinkin' much.

Photobooth Fun

Belly Boo and I had a little fun with Photobooth on the Mac this morning before I had to go to work.  She gets so excited when the webcam comes on!
