I wish I had some pictures of beautiful fall leaves to share, but our warm and rainy weather over the past few weeks means that we won't be seeing the amazing colors of fall until the end of October.
This really bums me out since I just love fall, but in a way I'm okay with it because I really feel like the weeks are just flying by right now.
There is some good news, though! Starting on Monday I'll be switching to a new store and starting full time with my bank. I'm bummed that I have to switch stores, but I'm glad that I will have more evenings and weekends off to spend with me family. I know that this will be a great opportunity for our family and I'm looking forward to meeting new co-workers and customers!

Working Mamma-hood
The past two weeks (and two days!), I've been lucky enough to re-enter the working world. Though training was a bit stressful, the past two days out in the store have been fantastic, and I'm so glad that I can be around adults again for a few hours every day!
That being said, I do miss my Belly Boo terribly while I'm working. I know that she's having a lot of fun with her babysitter, and that really helps put my mind at ease. I'm also really glad that I'm starting part time, because though I'm working, I still get to spend a good amount of time with her, and I get to cherish those days even more. :-)
More importantly, I'm really excited about the bit of extra income that this will give us. Though most of it will go into savings or towards doing things around the house, it will be nice to have a little extra to use as we'd like every once in awhile.
So working mamma-hood isn't all that bad. It's a bit of schedule adjusting for everyone and making sure I get to bed early and make sure that everything is perfectly planned, but I'm loving it so far!

My Blog Should Really Be Titled...
Diary of an absentee blogger, because I've been so out of it lately. Truth be told, though, a lot has happened since my lovely little vacation at the end of June.
The biggest news is that I have a job! Yay! I'll be starting part time work with a local bank in the next few weeks. I start my two weeks of training on Monday morning and I'm super excited about it!
We also just bought a new car! Double yay! It's a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta and I can't wait to pick it up! Hopefully by Monday it will be ours!
And I've also been super busy getting ready for Belly Boo's 2nd Birthday party this weekend. I'm sure I'll eventually have a few posts about that, too. :-)
