Likes & Dislikes

My likes for the week:

This amazingly gorgeous weather.  It just screams fall is on it's way and it makes me want to dig out all my sweaters, scarves and hats right this second.

Grey's Anatomy comes back this week.  In two days to be exact.  And now I get to watch it with my hubs, which is so much more fun than watching it alone.  It also means that McDreamy is back.  Yes. :-)

Going to see my best friend on Friday night at LVC.  I miss her like whoa and I'm sure we will have a fantastic time.  And seeing everyone else won't hurt either. ;-)

My dislikes for the week:

This cold that I currently have.  It's terrible.  My head feels like a ticking time bomb and no matter what meds I take it will just not go away.  My hubs has been taking good care of me though, and I'm feeling better today than I did yesterday, so yay!

The fact that the weather will be going from fall-like to summer-like in the next day.  Highs back in the 90's again.  I don't want an Indian Summer.

Not being able to sleep.  This cold is keeping me away from my slumber, which isn't good for anyone.  So if I seem grumpy, it's not on purpose and I apologize.

What exciting things are happening to you this week?....Or what can't you wait to be over?

Oh My Gosh I LOVE This Show

Direct quote from the Hubs after we've watched  about 20 episodes of Grey's Anatomy on DVD.

He always told me he was never a fan of the show, because he picked the episode from season two that has to do with the ferry boat accident.

You know the one where Meredith tries to drown herself.  Real uplifting depressing episode.  Haha

Anyways........I started watching season one and a few episodes in the Hubs gets all perky and interested.  Now he's addicted.  After every episode he gets all excited and says, "Oh my gosh I LOVE this show," over and over again.  He asks me a bunch of questions that I already know the answer to but won't tell him.  Then he asks if we can watch another episode.  He's like a kid in a candy store.

But now we'll be starting episode 16 of season two, which is the one he watched a few years ago.  Maybe now it'll all make sense to him.

Edit:  Whoops, my bad.  The episode I thought we were going to watch is season three, episode 16.  We're watching the bomb episode. Equally as depressing as watching her try and drown herself.

WTF, Grey's?

Seriously?  Seriously.  I don't know how many times I said "WTF," "seriously," "oh my god, oh my god, oh my god," and "noooo no no no no" last night.  Well that and "no you cannot kill McDreamy!"

Am I the only one who thought that finale was just a tad too redic?

My face legit looked like this when Reed and Alex got shot.  And it looked like this for at least half the episode, too.

I gasped too.  Like, holy moly I was not expecting that.

I'm also hoping that I never see this man again (I know he's dead and all in Grey's Anatomy land, but seriously, he freaks me out.).

I still don't understand why the swat team man that shot Mr. Crazy didn't go after him in the first place, but I guess that just adds to the drama (not to mention it increased my heart rate 100 times).

I do applaud and thank the writers for not making us wait until next season to find out if everyone would have lived.  That made me feel a little better, for real.  I just don't want any more season finales like that.  It was too intense.
